DOES EPIC OFFER EHR SYSTEMS FOR SMALL TO MID SIZED PRACTICES?

While Epic is known to support some of the largest healthcare systems in the world, they have evolved to provide products and services that also cater to small and mid-sized medical practices.

But with a reputation of being amongst the highest cost EHR systems for large organizations, Epic is working to overcome this perception to target small to mid-sized medical practices. A slimmed down version with less modules, their “light” EHR called Sonnet will have all the power of their enterprise EHR but without the price.

HOW IS EPIC DIFFERENT FROM OTHER EHRS?

Epic is the most widely used and recognized EHR system in the world. Their size and experience allows for scalable and effective solutions. With interoperability being one of their greatest value propositions, Epic reviews are typically quite favorable.

A hefty price tag for implementation is rumored, so make sure to thoroughly understand all upfront and ongoing fees.
